Just an ordinary man who was once consumed with the thought of gaining the whole world without realizing that my soul is lost. I have dreamed of becoming one of many things: doctor, banker, airline pilot and especially to be a very rich man with a very perverted lifestyle. A baby-boomer born in the Philippines and travelled overseas for work. Had a profound life change in 1993 when through the Gospel, I am made to understand what ‘hidden treasure in the field’ that I must have in exchange for all that I think I am. Saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus by the mercy of God and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. Called to a live a life separated for Him and granted the gift to teach and minister His Word to different people groups. Surrounded by loving brethren in the Lord from the Philippines and Nepal. Gifted by God with Purita (my mom) who loves the Lord and Marissa (my sister), born with Down’s syndrome, whose lips say “hallelujah Jesus!” Oh yes, I definitely must not forget my adopted “babu” from Nepal - Basant Ghimire [I really need to write this!
] He was reconciled with God through the Lord Jesus Christ in 2006.

n is my favorite author and biblical theologian. Albert Mohler addresses contemporary issues of our times most brilliantly. James R. White, a prolific greek exegete and Paul Washer, a passionate evangelist. These are only a few of my favorite contemporary Christian teachers. So many books, so little time. ESV is my choice of bible translation.
I love South Asian dishes (e.g. Indian, Nepali, Pakistani) and basically anything that is new to my pallate. Curried paneer (home made cheese) is one of my favorites.
I listen to psalm, hymns and spiritual songs (I am very particular with the content); here are samples:
>Psalm 23 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMUQEI0CLQM (psalm)
>Fairest Lord Jesus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r2y3v5LxSI (hymn)
>We Believe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDhUnfHoMrQ (spiritual song)

I also appreciate classical music particularly Bach’s concerto for two violins in D minor. Bach did say that music should only be for the glory of God.
